Local Enterprise
Zone
Greensville
County is one of 27 communities selected to receive an Enterprise Zone
designation by the Commonwealth of Virginia. The announcement was made
by Governor George Allen on November 30, 1995. The Virginia Enterprise
Zone Program, which provides special state and local tax incentives for
qualified businesses within the zone, is designed to stimulate business
development in distressed areas of the commonwealth.
